Unwind

"Imagine stepping into the doorway of Heaven and leaving behind all the clutter, junk and the busy chaos in our lives. Experiencing one on one time with ADONAI. Entering perfect peace and a joy that passes all understanding."

The weekly Shabbat begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. It is the only day of the week that is given a specific name – Shabbat meaning Rest. All the other weekdays are referred to numerically in their relation to Shabbat (i.e. “…and the evening & morning were the first day (toward Shabbat); …and the evening & morning were the second day (toward Shabbat) etc.). This reminds us of the importance GOD has placed upon HIS Shabbat.

The Shabbat is GOD’s day: a day of wholeness, a day when the miraculous can happen. YESHUA (JESUS), revealed this truth when HE walked the earth. HE did not hesitate to heal the afflicted, mend the broken hearted, feed the hungry or restore life on this day. YESHUA came to remind us of the power and merciful grace contained in this wonderful gift GOD has bestowed upon all mankind called the Shabbat. For HE declared, “that man was not made for the Shabbat, but Shabbat was made for man.” In other words, Shabbat is to benefit and serve man; man should not benefit and serve Shabbat. And one of the greatest benefits one can receive on the Shabbat is to reconnect to his Creator and to bring wholeness into one’s life. Again, Shabbat is a gift from GOD to all Mankind. This week, unwrap the gift and enjoy it.
